One of the most common problems that users face when they're using Edgecam is the fact that they're missing libraries. Actually, this can be pretty annoying because it also means that your favorite toolpaths may no longer work. Because of this, it's a good idea to try and figure out which library is causing the problem so you can either reload it or re-add it to your software. There are many ways to do this so it's important to remember that if you're having these problems then the first thing you need to do is restart your computer. This can be done by either closing out of the Edgecam software or by simply holding down the power button until it turns off. Whatever you choose, just make sure that after this step has been completed, you're able to open up the software again. Another issue that can crop up while using Edgecam is when your toolpaths are just not working right. It can be pretty frustrating when this happens because you'll find yourself unable to work on any machining operations which means delays in all of your projects. This is another issue that can be fixed by simply restarting the computer. When you're done with this, you should check to make sure that your feeds and speeds are set correctly because if not then your toolpaths won't work at all. This tool table can be created by going to "GearCalc > Tools Database > New," and then simply following the prompts on the screen. After completing this step, you should then use the "Tools > Runner" option to ensure that your toolpaths are actually running properly. After you've done this, you can also check to see if any errors have been detected so you can deal with them accordingly.
